eMoviePoster is hosting an auction of 1,240 one-sheets, international posters, and special posters in their Thursday auction that ends September 29, 2022. This auction is spread pretty evenly from the 1950s to the present, with 160 rare ones from before 1950.

One-sheets include Back to the Future studio style, Up in Smoke recalled, Star Trek international version, Labyrinth, Full Metal Jacket advance, Halloween II, Jurassic Park double-sided advance, Conan the Barbarian advance, Top Gun, St. Elmo’s Fire advance, Pulp Fiction, The Goonies, Ghostbusters international, Revolt of the Zombies, Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone double-sided advance, and Octopussy.

There are half-sheets for I Was a Teenage Frankenstein, Jaws, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and Objective Burma style B; inserts for Help, For a Few Dollars More, and Abbott & Costello Go to Mars; and art prints for The Birds, Star Wars, King Kong, Alien, Frankenstein, and Star Trek.

International examples are British Canine Sherlock Holmes vertical quad, English Lord of the Flies one-sheet, Japanese House, Grave of the Fireflies, and Fargo, Norwegian America Line travel poster, Italian Star Wars photobusta, and Danish Sas Africa travel poster.

eMoviePoster’s 23rd Annual Halloween Auction begins October 9, with over 1,700 posters, lobby cards, and more and is likely their best yet, according to the auction house. They are now accepting consignments for their December Major Auction.
