A Pre-Code horror inspired issue of Captain America Comics, a Pia Guerra Y: The Last Man sketch, and rare video games are listed in Heritage’s weekly auctions. The Comic Books Select Auction concludes on Sunday through Tuesday, April 7-9, 2024, the Video Games Mini-Boss Auction closes on Tuesday, April 9, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction ends on Wednesday, April 10.

In the comic auction, Heritage is offering Captain America Comics #74 CGC 1.8 featuring their take on Pre-Code Horror with a Weird Tales cover of a looming Red Skull. Another devilish figure is in this auction with Mephisto’s first appearance in The Silver Surfer #3 CGC 7.5.

The original art auction showcases a Yorick and Ampersand from Y: The Last Man sketch by series co-creator Pia Guerra. Another great illustration is Jae Lee’s art of Batman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn, rendered in Lee’s signature shadowy and expressive style.

The video game auction kicks off with the rare Musya WATA 7.5 B+ sealed Super Nintendo game, which is only the third time Heritage has offered it. Another scarcely found game is Street Racer WATA 8.5 A sealed also for SNES, which is one of only three in Wata’s population report.
