The latest ComicLink Focused Auction opens on Friday, April 12, 2024, starting at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. The auction features thousands of certified comic books from all eras and genres as well as hundreds of examples of related art from comics and fantasy.
The auction is led by a special Premium Session with higher value comics and art. The comic book selection is led by major keys from the Silver and Bronze Ages, such as Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 4.0 Signature Series Stan Lee, Giant-Size X-Men #1 CGC 9.8, Amazing Spider-Man #129 CGC 9.8, X-Men #1 CGC 7.0, Tales to Astonish #27 CGC 7.5, Avengers #1 CGC 7.5, and Incredible Hulk #1 CGC 1.8 Signature Series Stan Lee, #180 CGC 9.8, and #181 CGC 9.0. There are comic books dating back to the Golden Age including Captain America Comics #38 CGC 7.0. Plus, there are thousands of high grade certified Copper and Modern Age comic books including many keys from those eras.
Among the Premium Session original art examples are Michael Turner covers to Fathom Swimsuit Special #1 and Soulfire #1 (variant), J. Scott Campbell Fairytale Fantasies Mermaid Calendar cover illustration, Ron Lim Spider-Man Unlimited #1 page from the first chapter of “Maximum Carnage” showing Carnage for the first time in the story, Bill Sienkiewicz Moon Knight #22 page with Moon Knight in all nine panels, John Byrne Fantastic Four #285 page of the whole team, Jose Delbo Wonder Woman #265 page 1 title splash, Rich Buckler Wonder Woman Power Records #35 page 1 title splash with inks by Neal Adams and Dick Giordano, Stephen Platt Soul Saga #5 splash, three examples of Simone Bianchi trading card art from the 2018 Upper Deck Marvel Masterpieces set, and more.
ComicLink will be accepting consignments at C2E2 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago on April 26-28. VP, Senior Consignment Director Douglas Gillock and Consignment Director Jon Signorelli will attend the show and meet with collectors. Categories for consignment include comic books, comic and fantasy related original art, sports and non-sports trading cards, video games, action figures, VHS and Beta tapes, coins, and sports, historical, and entertainment memorabilia for ComicLink.com and CertifiedLink.com auctions.
ComicLink is offering upfront cash advances for consignments of high value comic books and related art for upcoming auctions including the Spring Featured Auction that starts on May 16 and the next ComicLink Focused Auction and CertifiedLink Auction, both of which launch in June.
