eMoviePoster has already hosted three auctions in May 2024, offering oversized posters, signed items, US and international movie posters, and bulk lots. The trio of auctions brought in a combined $266,325 in results.

The auction on Tuesday, May 7 contained 1,612 flat items with 56 oversized pieces and 154 signed examples, selling for $139,431. Surprising results were a Dirty Harry second printing Australian daybill for $875, Sugar Hill Baby set of 8 stills for $807, and Confessions of a Nazi Spy lobby card for $802.

The Thursday, May 9 auction was filled with 1,000 US and international movie posters, non-movie posters, and 62 signed items realizing $85,449. Three top sales were a Big Trouble In Little China one-sheet for $613, Shawshank Redemption advance one-sheet for $534, and a Scream one-sheet for $509.

The auction on Sunday, May 12 offered 752 bulk lots containing 15,104 items, that cleared $41,445. Three notable results were a lot of 30 Ice-T “Original Gangster” video posters for $1,810, a lot of 9 Public Enemy music posters for $1,510, and a lot of 20 Duran Duran music posters for $705.

eMoviePoster’s all-comic book auction contains 564 un-slabbed and ungraded books with near-complete runs of EC titles, including three horror books, two sci-fi titles, Crime and Shock SuspenStories. It starts on May 19.
