Heritage’s weekly auctions are led by Crime SuspenStories #20, a Sal Buscema and Tom Palmer Ms. Marvel page, and Wii launch advertising signs. The Comic Books Select Auction ends on Sunday through Tuesday, July 28-30, 2024, the Video Games Mini-Boss Auction ends on Tuesday, July 30, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction concludes on Wednesday, July 31.

The comic auction begins with Crime SuspenStories #20 CGC 4.5 with the notorious pre-Code hanged man cover by Johnny Craig. Another famous cover is on Amazing Spider-Man #33 CGC 8.5, featuring Steve Ditko’s art of Spidey trying not to drown.

In the original art auction, Sal Buscema and Tom Palmer’s Ms. Marvel #10 story page 6 is a battle page with an early appearance of Carol Danvers and the second appearance of Deathbird. Scott Koblish’s X-Men ’92 #1 chapter two screens 1-3 art depicts the full animated cast of Cyclops, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Storm, Beast, Rogue, and Gambit disembarking from the Blackbird.

The video game auction features a pair of Wii advertising signs that include a lighted acrylic sign with the Wii logo and a plastic countdown clock that promoted the console’s release. The TwinBee Portable VGA 90 sealed was a follow-up to the 1985 coin-operated video game and is one of only two copies on Wata’s March 2024 population report.
