Heritage hosted their International Comic Art Signature Auction on October 12-13, 2024, featuring characters like Vampirella, Batman, and many others. The auction attracted more than 3,100 bidders, bringing in a total of $3,122,597.

Adam Hughes’ Vampirella #1 original cover for the issue that kicked off “The Dracula War” sold for $125,000. Hughes contributed covers to the first three issues of the reboot series, and this is among his most popular covers.

Matt Wagner’s Batman #635 cover with a dramatic battle image between Batman and Red Hood as lightning splits the scene, realized $112,500. This key issue reintroduced Jason Todd, the second Robin who had been murdered by the Joker and was resurrected as Red Hood.

Jean Giraud’s Une Aventure de John Difool, L’Incal Lumière #2 story page 62 hammered for $47,500. The page shows John Difool and his companion, the concrete seagull Deepo, flying into Cardiogrif’s lair.

A copy of Spirou #1071 CGC 9.6 sold for a record setting $35,000. This is the single highest graded copy of the book featuring the first appearance of Les Schtroumpfs, decades before they were introduced as the cartoon characters, The Smurfs.
