Linen-backed one-sheets include 20th Century style B, Vertigo, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town style B, Lawrence of Arabia pre-Awards, House on Haunted Hill, Woman Rebels, Secret Bride, Motor Mania, and Empire Strikes Back NSS style.
Un-backed one-sheets are The Empire Strikes Back, Jaws, Pulp Fiction advance, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Star Wars style A first printing, Leave Her to Heaven, and Return of the Jedi dated teaser.
International examples include an Australian Halloween daybill signed by Jamie Lee Curtis and others and a Night of the Living Dead poster signed by George A. Romero and others. There’s a Polish Midnight Cowboy linen-backed and French Godzilla linen-backed one-panel and This Gun for Hire poster. They have a British Texas Chainsaw Massacre X local style quad signed by Tobe Hooper and others and The Thing quad signed by John Carpenter and others, and a Japanese King Kong 1952 rerelease.
eMoviePoster is offering half-sheets from Raven, Notorious style B, and Attack of the Crab Monsters signed by Russell Johnson, and inserts from Gone with the Wind, Double Indemnity, The Thing, and Rough House Rosie.
Highlights also include lobby cards from Wizard of Oz and Bride of Frankenstein, a United Air Lines Hawaii linen-backed travel poster, Back to the Future Part II commercial poster, Vertigo style Y 40” x 60” poster, Planet of the Apes linen-backed half subway, and a Dirty Harry linen-backed three-sheet.
This is their final auction of 2024, and they will end with $119 million in sales from over 35 years, with over 70,000 buyers and registered users, and 3,367 consignors.
