Pedigree Comics recently purchased a collection of all DC war titles and the collection is now live in Pedigree’s February DC Big 5 Army at Auction, according to CEO and President Doug Schmell. The auction began on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, and lasts for two weeks until Monday, February 17 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website.

There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every book from the collection is listed with no reserve. Every book is CGC-certified and the minimum bid is only $30 for this exclusive DC war auction. All of the comics are open for bid on the Pedigree Comics website.

The collection comes out of South Florida and includes runs of the five major DC war titles. There are almost 400 books from All-American Men of War, G.I. Combat, Our Army at War, Our Fighting Forces, and Star Spangled War Stories, plus a group of books from Capt. Storm and Unknown Soldier.

Many of the early issues of the titles are in low to mid-grade and then go mid to high-grade on the higher numbers. The collection starts in 1953 and goes into the mid to late 1970s.

Details and specific titles from Pedigree’s February DC Big 5 Our Army at Auction will be shared in the “Latest News” section on Pedigree’s website, as well as on Scoop.
