Heritage Auctions is getting into the holiday spirit – the Star Wars day spirit! They are hosting a Star Wars Day Entertainment Auction on May 4, 2025 (aka May the Fourth), featuring 300 lots of memorabilia from the beloved franchise. This includes original movie posters, screen-used props, high-end replicas, toys, comics, and art.

Action figures leading the auction include the Star Wars Sears exclusive set of 12 carded figures AFA 70+, featuring 12 factory-sealed figures like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader. This is the only graded example of the 1979 Kenner Canada release, per the AFA population report. Another rare multi-figure set is the Sears exclusive set of nine carded figures AFA 70, featuring a Boba Fett figure on card. The bounty hunter is also showcased in the peach Boba Fett first shot figure AFA 85, a preproduction prototype that is the only graded example.

“These sets represent a pivotal moment in cinematic history and were among the earliest opportunities fans had to bring the Star Wars universe into their home,” said Justin Caravoulias, Heritage’s Consignment Director of Action Figures and Toys. “Finding them in such incredible condition is exceptionally rare, and the opportunity to win treasures like these on May 4 makes this auction even more special.”

There are 20 pieces of original art, like the Star Wars: Droids C-3PO original line art by Alice Carter. Showing C-3PO and R2-D2 in danger, the art is the only known surviving packaging depiction of the droids, according to Heritage. John Alvin’s original concept painting for the unreleased Star Wars concert series poster, Greg Hildebrandt’s portrait of Darth Vader’s funeral pyre mask, and Olivia De Berardinis’ Grogu painting are also among the original art lots.

Heritage is also offering a Star Wars 24-sheet style A with Tom Jung’s art, John Alvin’s Revenge of the Jedi concept sketch, the 2024 Topps Star Wars Galactic Antiquities Autograph Book Card 1:1, Pedro Pascal’s hero helmet from season one of The Mandalorian, and an original C-3PO foot from The Empire Strikes Back.

“This auction is a dream for Star Wars fans and collectors alike,” Caravoulias said. “The forces vying for treasures like Pedro Pascal’s Mandalorian helmet will be strong. We encourage collectors not to wait until May 4 to peruse the catalog and to decide now which item they want to take home on May 4.”
