The worlds of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and comics are converging at the annual Farpoint convention. The show is being held on February 21-23, 2020, at the Delta Hotel by Marriott on 245 Shawan Road in Hunt Valley, Maryland. 

So far, Farpoint has only teased the addition of three media guests to the convention. This includes Penny Johnson Jerald (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Anthony Montgomery (Star Trek: Enterprise), and Mary Chieffo (Star Trek Discovery). Literary guests attending the show include Peter David (Pulling up Stakes), Phil Giunta (By Your Side), Bob Greenberger (Batman), Howard Weinstein (Galloway’s Gamble), Kelli Fitzpatrick (To Stick a Star), Diane Lee Baron (Gal Wonder), Heather Hutsell (The Doll Collection), Alan Smale (Clash of Eagles), and Sherri Cook Woosley (Walking Through Fire). Cosplayers Jazmine Cosplays, Jay Justice, Dame Dahlia, and D’Mandra Martini will also be attending the show. 

Kicking things off on Friday night is a special welcome party in the Valley Ballroom complete with a cash bar and entertainment by the Prometheus Radio Theatre. During the show, attendees can enjoy live performances by Boogie Knights, Luna-C, The Chromatics, Marc Okrand, Maryland Kunst des Fechtens, Vic’s Place featuring The Pack Ratz, T A Chafin, Wizarding Alliance of Non-Lethal Duelists and Cooking For Trekkies with Jessica Moran. There will also be various panels and workshops, autograph sessions, an art show, charity auction, gaming oasis and so much more.

The show is running Friday 12 PM to 12 AM, Saturday 9 AM to 12 AM, and Sunday 9 AM to 6 PM. One-day passes are $15 for Friday, $60 for Saturday, and $45 for Sunday, with a full weekend pass available for $85. Children 5 and under are admitted for free.
