Awesome Con, the large comics and pop culture event in DC, is coming up soon on June 3-5, 2022. Once again, the con is returning to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC.

Celebrity guests are Anthony Daniels (Star Wars), Simu Liu, Meng’er Zhang, and Florian Munteanu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Melissa Joan Hart, Beth Broderick, and Caroline Rhea (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Anthony Rapp and Wilson Cruz (Star Trek: Discovery), Christopher Sabat and Sean Schemmel (Dragon Ball Z), Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian), Kel Mitchell (Kenan & Kel), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Sylvester McCoy (Doctor Who), and Wes Johnson (Fallout 4).

Artist and writer guests include Agnes Garbowska (Super Hero Girls), Alitha E. Panels, Q&As, and other events will be held all weekend, including Awesome Con Jr., the science fair, pride alley, the book fair, and the short film festival.

The convention will be open on Friday from 1 to 8 PM, Saturday at 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday at 10 AM to 5 PM.

The three-day weekend pass is $85, Friday is $40, Saturday is $50, Sunday is $45, and the kids’ weekend pass is $15. There are also VIP packages for the con.
