On August 2-4, 2024, Otakon will return to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mt. Vernon Place NW in Washington, DC.

Otakon is filled with activities, like the anime music videos contest, art show, dance party, larping, a manga library, Lyra’s formal ball, family events, cafes, and video gaming, among other activities.

The guest list includes Yomi Hirasaka (novelist), Kentaro Iwaasa (editor), Kazuhiro Fukuchi (animator), Maiko Higa (producer), Shuichiro Umeda (voice actor), Hiroya Nakata (animation producer), Nozomi Shimakura (associate producer), Naoki Hamaguchi (director), Erica Lindbeck (actress), and several others.

Early bird tickets are $85 for the weekend, $60 for Friday, $70 for Saturday, and $40 for Sunday.
