Paco Ramone (later Cisco Ramon) is a metahuman hero who can manipulate vibrations and frequencies around him. He can generate shock waves strong enough to break steel or concrete, he can manipulate seismic vibrations of the earth, and even control the fabric of spacetime.

Vibe was created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton, who introduced him in DC Comics Sampler #2 (September 1984). Before becoming a hero, he was leading the Los Lobos street gang in Detroit. When he learned that a new Justice League was forming in Detroit, Vibe left the gang to audition for the team.

His time with the Justice League had a bumpy start, particularly with Aquaman and Martin Manhunter who were concerned after Vibe got them involved in a fight with a rival gang. Despite their concerns, he proved himself against foes like Amazo, Cadre, and Anton Allegro, and his abilities were a big help in defeating Despero during Crisis on Infinite Earths.

After Darkseid’s attack in Legends and the Justice League disbanded, Vibe was killed by one of Professor Ivo’s androids. He was resurrected in Trinity, died again, and became a Black Lantern during Blackest Night. Vibe returned once again during The New 52 to star in the short-lived series, Justice League of America’s Vibe.
