Bidding in ComicConnect’s last Event Auction of the year kicks off November 21, 2022.

“Collectors are already compiling their want lists with the live preview,” ComicConnect President Vincent Zurzolo said. “The Quentin Eastman Collection is just one of the many notable offerings that can be checked out before a single bid is placed.”

Ranging from Kevin Eastman’s early business cards (illustrations and van murals), copies of the first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and subsequent issues, to toys, press releases, movie premiere passes, and a pre-press mockup of the first Gobbledygook (in which Quentin contributed a story), Eastman saved a wide variety of Turtle collectibles.

Highlights include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 CGC 9.4 Kevin Eastman Signature Series with sketch, and Gobbledygook Proof Copy #1 and #2. Zurzolo said dozens more lots will be added over the next few weeks.

“Kevin always kept me well-supplied with new TMNT issues as they came out, putting me on the Mirage mailing list, as well as with toys and other merch,” Quentin said. “I’d like to extend a massive thank you to him for all he has done for my family in helping prepare this collection by signing and authenticating a large number of collectibles – special thanks to Peter Laird as well!”
