Fire Power #1, the partnering between Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee, will be on sale Wednesday, August 5, 2020. It will be an extra length issue with additional backmatter not previously included in the promotional edition. It will feature a different cover from the Free Comic Book Day edition and sells for $3.99.

The second issue will also be available for sale on the same day.

In Fire Power whoever controls the fire power is set to save the world, which is on the shoulders of Owen Johnson – and he doesn’t want the ability or the power. He wants a simpler life with family, but other forces make that impossible and danger comes at him from all sides.

Fire Power #1 with the new cover by Samnee and Matt Wilson (Diamond Code JUN200038) and Fire Power #2 (Diamond Code JUN200076) are both available on Wednesday, August 5. Fire Power #3 (Diamond Code JUL200204) will be in shops on Wednesday, September 2.

The prequel original graphic novel, Fire Power, Vol. 1: Prelude (Diamond Code FEB200019), is available now at local comic shops and in bookstores on Tuesday, July 7.
