Dark Horse Books and SNK have collaborated to produce The Art of Samurai Shodown hardcover, collecting concept art and commentary from the development of the new entry of the Samurai Shodown saga.

SNK’s Samurai Shodown has been entertaining fans of fighting games since 1993 with the thrilling combat, memorable characters, and dynamic settings. This book provides insight into the making of the revival for the classic franchise. It is a large format volume with nearly 700 documents and illustrations that were used in the game.

The 288-page book features all the original character designs, weapons, costumes, and backgrounds. The Art of Samurai Shodown retails for $39.99 and is now in comic shops.
