Wednesday Addams is not happy about being spied on by Thing in a new clip for the upcoming Netflix series, Wednesday. The series will star Jenna Ortega as a teenage Wednesday who starts attending Nevermore Academy, where she learns about a supernatural mystery and its connection to her parents.

In the new clip, titled “Wednesday Addams vs. Thing” she discovers the sentient hand creature hiding in her new dorm room and is none to thrilled that he is spying on her for her parents. After some negotiations and the threat of violence, she convinces Thing to help her “escape this teenage purgatory.” And she already has a plan.

The series by Tim Burton (who will also direct four episodes) will start streaming on Netflix on November 23, 2022. It also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán as Morticia and Gomez, former Wednesday Addams actress Christina Ricci in an undisclosed role, Gwendoline Christie, and Thora Birch.
