Gil Scott-Heron was a singer, poet, writer, and spoken word performer who is considered the godfather of rap. Now, his life and impact on music is told in the graphic novel, In Search of Gil Scott-Heron by writer Thomas Mauceri and artist Seb Piquet. The book is published by Titan and will arrive in stores in August 2023.

The book features a bonus article that expands on Scott-Heron’s career and impact. The 232-page hardcover will be in comic shops on August 15.
