Halo, the military science fiction show based on the popular video game franchise of the same name is returning to small screens soon. Paramount+ has released a teaser for the second season and announced that it will debut on February 8, 2024.

“Master Chief John-117 (Pablo Schreiber) leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant,” the official description reads. “In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe – that the Covenant are preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction – the Halo.”

Season one stars Natascha McElhone, Jen Taylor, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Gray, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy, Danny Sapani, Fiona O’Shaughnessy, and Tylan Bailey are returning for the second season.

Joseph Morgan is joining the cast as ambitious intelligence operative James Ackerson who works with the Office of Naval Intelligence, and Cristina Rodlo is playing Marine Corps linguistics specialist Talia Perez.

The first two episodes of Halo season two will premiere on February 8, then new episodes will drop on a weekly basis.
