Over 90 years after Robert E. Howard introduced Conan the Barbarian and the sword and sorcery genre, the character is just as popular with fans of high adventure and heroism. The character is currently starring in an ongoing series at Titan, which is set to release the first volume in trade paperback. Titan has dropped a trailer for the book.

Conan the Barbarian: Bound in Black Stone Vol. 1 by writer Jim Zub and artist Rob De La Torre collects the first four issues of the series and material from the Free Comic Book Day 2023 special edition comic.

“On the eve of his first major battle, young Conan of Cimmeria pictures a life beyond the borders of his homeland and yearns for a life of adventure undreamt of in his small village. Visions of future allies and unspeakable evils he will eventually encounter throughout his fabled life fill his mind, as he makes the choice to take his first fateful step into the Hyborian Age in search of blood-soaked glory,” Titan’s description reads.

Conan the Barbarian: Bound in Black Stone Vol. 1 features covers by Dan Panosian, Artgerm, and Mike Mignola. The 128-page trade paperback retails for $17.99 and will be in stores on February 13, 2024.
