Dwellings, the horror series by Jay Stephens (Epitaphs from the Abyss) is making its return in October 2024 with Dwellings: All Hallows’ Eve Special #1. The Halloween special will be followed by the new limited series Dwellings: Second Stories #1 in 2024.

The 40-page Halloween special follows Wolfgang LeGant, a newcomer to Elwich, who thinks that he is a vampire hunter. While on his mission, he meets Emmaline Momenta, who believes that she’s a real vampire, and his belief in his abilities could be the one thing that’ll stop a mass murder.

“This standalone story brings us back to the haunted streets of Elwich for a tale about a tall, dark, and handsome visitor hellbent on hunting down the monsters who hide in the town’s shadows,” Stephens said. “Set in the tightknit underground ‘Sangunarian’ Elwich goth scene, ‘Come Hither’ flips the classic bloodsucker tale in its grave, as a delusional, self-proclaimed ‘vampire hunter’ seduces the black-clad youth one by one in order to lay them to rest for eternity. Happy Halloween, Dwellers!”

Dwellings: All Hallows’ Eve Special #1 comes with standard and “skeletonized” covers by Stephens, plus a variant by Katie Skelly (Twisted Romance).
