Baltimore Comic-Con will host their 25th anniversary convention soon on September 20-22, 2024. The show will return to the Baltimore Convention Center at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD.
The 2024 yearbook will feature interpretations of Ben Edlund’s superpowered, escaped mental patient who protects The City – the Tick! Baltimore Comic-Con just announced that a new limited edition issue of The Tick will also be at the show.
The 16-page comic features the stories “Microbe Adventure” and “Dire Darkness,” written by Benito Cereno and Jeff McClelland with art by Ian Chase Nichols and Duane Redhead. Edlund, Redhead, and Bob Polio provided the cover. Limited to 350 numbered copies, it’s on deluxe sketch cover stock with a blank back cover.
Edlund is Baltimore Comic-Con’s guest of honor, and Nichols and McClelland will also be guests at the con. The Tick comic, as well as sketches, signatures, other books, and more will be available at the convention. The comic is $15 each and signatures are free. Nichols will do remarques for $20, bust sketches for $50, and full figure sketches for $100.
