Titan Comics and Blizzard Entertainment are bringing the Diablo video game series back to comics in 2025. Titled, Diablo: Dawn of Hatred, the new comic series will begin with a special free introductory issue on Free Comic Book Day in May.

Written by Cullen Bunn (Harrow County), drawn by Daniele Serra, and colored by Jovanna Plata, the book will venture into the Sanctuary. It is set after the devastating events in Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred and the expansion in Vessel of Hatred.

“Set in the dark and demon-infested world of Sanctuary, the Diablo game series invites players to face down the infernal hordes of the Burning Hells – and rewards them for their efforts with piles and piles of epic loot,” per the description.

The Diablo: Dawn of Hatred Free Comic Book Day Edition will be in comic shops on Saturday, May 3.
