The Doctor has had many dangerous foes over the years, but few rival the destructiveness and power of the Daleks. With a unique tank-like design and battle cry of “Exterminate!” the Daleks have challenged the Doctor many times over the past 60 years. Now fans of Doctor Who can build their own 1:2 scale Dalek for adventures at home.

From Hachette Partworks, the replica of the Time War Dalek was introduced in 2005. The high quality 1:2 scale model has light, sound, movement, and interchangeable weapons, and it is operated by remote control. Each month, subscribers will receive a magazine with instructions to build the Dalek and background information on the Daleks and their confrontations with Doctor Who.

The Dalek model can move via wheels on the underside that can be remote controlled. It has lights and sound effects that go off in sync with each other, and the light-up eyestalk can be raised and lowered. The body armor can be opened to show the Dalek inside and the head and shoulders can be moved with the remote control. It also has interchangeable weapons, including a ray gun, plunger, and a claw attachment.
