Jason Statham, an action star whose machismo style harkens back to the 1980s, will take on a plethora of bad guys in A Working Man. MGM released the trailer for the action flick, which is an adaptation of Chuck Dixon’s novel, Levon’s Trade.

The trailer introduces Statham as Levon Cade the titular character who is working on a construction site when he breaks up a fight with more precision than the average joe. When his boss (Michael Peña) tells him that his daughter was kidnapped, Cade is asked to find her and bring her home safely.

This sets off a string of fights with low level bad guys and he meets up with an old friend (David Harbour) who has an arsenal of weapons as his disposal. The hunt for the missing girl reveals a ring of human trafficking and a conspiracy involving everyone from the mob to corrupt government officials.

Statham is working with a familiar director and writer on this movie. It is directed by David Ayer, who previously directed Statham in The Beekeeper, and the script was written by Sylvester Stallone, who starred in The Expendables trilogy with Statham.

A Working Man also stars Alana Boden, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas, Maximilian Osinksi, and Eve Mauro. It arrives in theaters on March 28, 2025.
