Dynamite Entertainment’s new juvenile imprint, Dynamite Kids, is planning to release a slate of original material, rights acquisitions of original stories, and licensed properties. By the end of 2025, they will have released nearly 30 books aimed at entertaining and educating children of all ages.

Current Dynamite Kids titles include the Thunderous graphic novel by M.L. Smoker, Natalie Peeterse, and artist Dale Deforest, that follows a young Lakota Native American girl as she learns about her family, culture, and heritage. Another well received title is League of Forgettable Supervillains which embraces the tropes of superhero stories.

Dynamite Kids has published two books about the brave switcher train Baldwin as he crosses the country looking for his father in Baldwin’s Big Adventure and ensures that presents find their destinations in Baldwin’s Big Christmas Delivery. Additional winter and holiday themed books have included Santa’s Secret Society, How the North Pole Works, Snow Boy, The Ice Children, and Stop That Penguin! for readers of all ages.

Industry veteran John I. Rosenberg is leading the new Dynamite Kids imprint. He is a global business development executive who specializes in originating and growing existing juvenile content brands across media and merchandise. His previous experience includes being the EVP & Publisher of Curiosity Ink Media, VP and Publisher of Silver Dolphin Books, and heading MGM Studio’s Licensed Publishing Group.

“I’m thrilled to be at the forefront of leading Dynamite’s expansion into the juvenile space,” Rosenberg said. “It’s an opportunity to not just engage young readers from a very young age, but to get them excited about reading while looking forward to what’s coming next, and to ideally develop a love for reading. We’re eager to open young minds to a world of possibilities through our original stories for young readers, junior graphic novels, novelty books, and activity books.”
