Hundreds of hours of Ultraman, the long-running Japanese sci-fi series, are now on Prime Video. Mill Creek Entertainment has partnered with Tsuburaya Productions to launch a free ad-supported streaming channel.

The new channel will feature over 80 Ultraman movies and TV series from the franchise’s almost 60-year history. With nearly 210 hours of content, fans can watch classic titles like Ultra Q all the way up to new TV series and movie releases. Many titles will be available as English dubbed versions for the first time.

“Since Ultraman’s creation by Eiji Tsuburaya more than a half-century ago, Ultraman has stood the test of time across multiple generations of fans, young and old,” Tsuburaya Fields Media & Picture Entertainment President & CEO David Kornblum said. “With the advent of the Ultraman Channel, we look forward to expanding the audience further for this seminal character while providing core fans with the deepest access to the catalog.”

The original Ultraman debuted in 1966, introducing the Scientific Special Search Party, a worldwide police force that used special weapons to combat various monsters. The group’s best member, Shin Hayata, had the ability to use a special artifact called the “Beta Capsule” to turn into the super-powered space giant, Ultraman, when the SSSP needed more help. The Ultra series has since encompassed dozens of television shows and films, Ultraman Kids shows, and other forms of media.

“With the Ultraman channel, we’re not just entertaining; we’re also celebrating a cultural phenomenon that has connected fans through generations,” Mill Creek Entertainment SVP of Acquisitions Jeff Hayne said. “We are excited to provide a platform where longtime fans can relive their favorite moments while also welcoming newcomers to the awe-inspiring world of Ultraman.”

The Ultraman Channel is now available on Amazone Prime Video’s Live TV tab.
