It’s a Buffy issue without Buffy as the “Hellmouth” crossover event continues. A portion of this issue is devoted to Robin Wood, who has become the watcher for the new slayer in town. He tries to discuss things with Giles, but Buffy’s watcher is still in angry mode after recent events. Willow and Xander briefly discuss how much they’ve changed recently, and Cordelia gets kidnapped by a classmate.

Things are not looking good in Sunnydale. This issue was mostly tense arguments and mounting frustration as the characters are all unclear about what to do next. Cordelia’s storyline provides some action and an important character introduction. The Hellmouth’s negative energy has really effected this book, so hopefully writer Jordie Bellaire has plans for some big heroics soon.
