Tony Stark has revealed that he’s simply an artificial intelligence construct, and that the real Tony Stark is dead, leading to Tony’s adoptive brother Arno to seize Stark Unlimited and all of its assets – including the suits. So Arno is now Iron Man, while AI-Tony is on the run, leading to some interesting results. A rebellion of robots is underway, and Arno will have to contend with a number of things from Tony’s past in the process.

New year, new Iron Man – and it’s off to a compelling start. Everything that’s been going on with Tony in the comics has been turbulent, but such ups and downs appear to run in the Stark family. Whether Arno really wants to do good or simply bask in the glory of being a hero is up in the air, but he’s definitely going to have to pull off some heroics in the coming issues.
