Missy and the Master have finally broken out of Stormcage (with a little help from River Song) and are now on the path to find the Key to Time. Now that they are free of the prison, the dastardly duo head off to visit their past for clues to where the fragment could be.

This issue is an enjoyable adventure through the Master’s timeline, seeing different incarnations of the villain and the Doctor. As he shows surprise and dismay at some of the events he witnesses, the Master also seems to be catching on that Missy might be lying about her identity.

Jody Houser is writing a fun story in this comic with plenty of humorous moments as Missy tries to be less like herself and more like the Doctor. Her comments that poke fun at the Doctor while pretending to be her is quite comical.
