Elvira is back and so is writer David Avallone, setting up what is likely to be another great adventure. On previous books, Avallone showed a mastery of the comedy and horror blend that makes a great Elvira comic, and that holds true here. The dialogue is on point with Elvira giving cheeky responses to Price’s erudite quips. It’s also packed with pop culture nods and self-referential jokes that make it fun on every page.
