With this week’s release of the tenth and concluding issue of Terry Moore’s Parker Girls series and ahead of the second collected edition, it’s a great time to dive into the first trade paperback of the series, which reprints Parker Girls #1-5.

Since the debut of his original Strangers in Paradise mini-series, Moore’s calling card has been a unique blend of very human characters in tumultuous and often over-the-top situations. Raw emotions, intimidation, deadly consequences, big stakes, and even humor are the gravy for this one.

As always, when a creator has earned your trust, part of the fun is seeing where he or she will take you and what stops you’ll make along the way. Parker Girls checks all the boxes to which Terry Moore fans are accustomed and then some!
