The Munich File case comes to an explosive conclusion in the fifth issue. Scarlett Carver has learned of a shocking connection between her mother and the greedy, power-hungry villain, Simon Klass. Held captive and facing execution, she seemingly has no way out and is now facing some uncomfortable truths about who she can trust in life and espionage.

Start to finish, Des Taylor wrote and drew an awesome book in Scarlett Couture: The Munich File. It’s a stylish spy thriller with a smart, likeable, tough heroine going up against an enterprising villain, and both have a network of interesting allies. Taylor’s great story is matched by his gorgeous art of cinematic action sequences, expressive emotion, cool tech, and settings that pull the reader into the locale.

It’s a great read, and I’m already looking forward to more.
