Archie; $3.99

Former rock star Bingo Wilkin has become a music manager who is really working for Hell by offering people stardom in exchange for souls. What he really wants is to return to performing music himself. When Bingo pleads his case to his hellish bosses, Bingo learns that achieving his goal won’t be easy and it will cost a lot of souls.

The Cult of that Wilkin Boy Initiation builds on the be-careful-what-you-wish-for storyline from Bingo’s last outing. For this one-shot, writer Cullen Bunn poses the question: how far is Bingo willing to go to realize his dream? The dark tale is brought to life by penciler Dan Schoening, inker Ben Galvan, and colorist Matt Herms, who make Bingo look very cool, the fiends of Hell are distinctive and menacing, and the results of Bingo’s actions are pretty nasty.

It’s another solid entry in Archie’s Chilling Adventures horror line.
