Ash Williams finally made it back to his time period in 1993, only to find that Evil Ash has effectively taken over the world and is commanding a Deadite army made of actual soldiers. Fortunately for Ash, he came back with the Necronomicon baby and killer robots. Meanwhile in 1300, Sheila is being confronted by Deadites who try to convince her to join their side.

Army of Darkness Forever by Tony Fleecs, artist Pop Mhan, and colorist Brad Simpson is ludicrous – but in a fun, entertaining way. Ash is cocky and uncouth, yet still likeable, Evil Ash is diabolical and bloodthirsty, and Sheila is facing terrible odds without Ash’s inherent skills. Add in a Necronomicon baby, Deadite army, and robots from the future for a wild, lightweight story for summer reading.
