The last issue of the Cruella De Vil series brings the silly story to a satisfying conclusion. Sweeney Boo wrote a zany series befitting Cruella’s desire for wealth, her love of fashion, and her dislike of dogs. Artist Miriana Puglia and colorist Ellie Wright similarly embraced the original Disney animated movie by giving Cruella’s features sharp angles and making her henchmen look like dim yutzes. It’s a fun entry in Dynamite’s Disney books.
