The Halloween party is going to be a wild affair when Archie brings Amber Nightstone as his date and some of the Fae folk who escaped the Eyegore Estates show up to the festivities. Ginger Snapp gets pretty freaked out by the killer doll movie, Melanie, and shapeshifters cause confusion when they masquerade as the Crusaders. Detective Wyatt Raymond tries to find a few crooks, which is made more difficult since they are wearing costumes, and Shinji gets into trouble when he tries to help both Betty and Veronica at different parties.

The Archie Halloween Spectacular one-shot is filled with festive hijinks and shenanigans, featuring stories by Ian Flynn, Dan Parent, and Francis Bonnet. Several of the Riverdale kids get the spotlight in the stories, making each one fresh and fun. The costumes look great, the gags are funny, there’s action, and some family-friendly scares. It’s a fun book that will put readers in the Halloween spirit.
