This issue of The Powerpuff Girls is a sweet (and definitely salty) affair when Townsville hosts a baking competition. While Bubbles is content to sample the tasty treats, Blossum and Buttercup challenge each other in the competition. To make things more interesting, the pint sized heroines will also compete against one of their nemeses, Princess.

The girls don’t face a supervillain in this issue, but that doesn’t stop them from causing a little chaos… and food fights. Paulina Ganucheau takes over writing duties from Kelly Thompson, delivering lots of over the top action and the messiest baking contest of all time. It’s cute and silly, with a really funny ending.
