The Scream Sommelier has kidnapped Maria, the little girl the Doctor was trying to protect. While the Scream Sommelier torments little Maria with the screams he’s collected from all over the galaxy, the Doctor hatches a clever plan to save the girl and stop the villain from doing anymore damage.

On the TV show, the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday have created an upbeat, optimistic tone for their adventures through time and space. Writer Dan Watters continues that tone in the comic. The Scream Sommelier is an odd and quite sinister villain, but that doesn’t stop the Doctor and Ruby from doing their best to save everyone he’s trying to hurt.

This final issue of the miniseries was a good introduction for the comic adventures of the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday, and hopefully more are on the way.
