Agent Eckis’ world is being rocked by the pro-dupe league attacks and the revelation that there are post-pop dupes who are functioning. The latter group of dupes is trying to determine how they can continue to function as their numbers swell. Meanwhile, the discovery of an even more disturbing situation draws all of their attention.
The first Skin Police series wraps up with this issue written by Jordan Thomas, with art by Daniel Gete, and colors by Jason Wordie. The series poses ethical questions about how people treat each other and how far the government/police should go to protect citizens. It’s about having choices taken away and fighting for rights. Skin Police brings up interesting questions for a futuristic sci-fi world, but some implications are relevant today. It also has plenty of action and suspense to keep readers engaged.
