The Silver Shrike has been murdered and two of his former pupils want to find his killer. That common goal hasn’t exactly united Green Hornet and Miss Fury, each of whom have their own style of crime fighting and investigation. As more costumed heroes are killed, the pair become targets themselves and their lack of team spirit could cost them their lives.

Co-writers Alex Segura and Henry Barajas continue to deliver smart dialogue with Miss Fury and Green Hornet verbally sparring about the mystery and their approaches to solving it. The story is moving at a good pace, setting the stage for an important reveal. Artist Federico Sorressa and colorist Henry Barajas give the book a grainy quality with great contrast on the light and dark shades.
